It's form changes depending on the region it's from, there are 5 different forms known.

They live in large groups deep in the sea, it can be found in any region however since it's mostly immobile people usually fail to think it's a living being, since it's absolutely still it never attacks trainers making it extremely hare to catch.

This Pokémon will always keep it's mouth wide open to filter the water it absorbs, an old myth says that closing it's mouth would cause it's death. 

This Pokémon is extremely durable, experiments show that even if fully disintegrated the smallest cell left behind will originate another of it's kind.

Poreepoo are very ancient Pokémon its believed to be the oldest non legendary Pokémon in existence, they live upon the same stone immobile over its whole life and sometimes those stones hide others Pokémon fossils.
